Summer is Going Great
I'm so happy to report that we are having one of our best summer camp seasons ever and it's just getting started! I am rolling with a new band this summer and things are really going well for these guys in their rookie season. Craig McClellan, Ryan Mitchell and Brian Yakaboski are all doing a first class job. Heather, being what I call full on pregnant, is doing a stellar job as always. Thanks fellas and Lil' Mama! The hard work is paying off.
This Week at International Ministry Headquarters
We are putting all the finishing touches on our worship conference that comes up next week. If you are still waiting to sign up, stop it. There is nothing to loose except an amazing opportunity. Worship leaders, head over to Inspireworshipconference.com to get signed up. The deadline for submitting a song for our writing contest has passed, and all the submissions are in. We'll be judging them this week and letting the top six know who they are on Wednesday May the 6th. Keep your phone on.
Please pray for us as we have faced "trials of many kinds" over the past few days and I know it's just God counting us worthy to be tested. Thank God that he sees value in refining us and making us better. I do need your prayers, so when you can, call out the name's of the Cartee's to God. Hope to see you at Inspire.
Inspire 09 is a month away

Happy tax day too! I hope the check you send to your Uncle Sam is not too much of a burden. If you got a refund, rush out to your local LifeWay or other Christian music retailer and pick up a copy of my new record, "Everything You Do". I hope it blesses you!
New Album hittin' the streetz March 31st!!!
Hey there Spring. And Lent. I hope you guys are doing well. It’s the season for C-mail to be in full bloom and here she is. Thank goodness that C-mail is hypoallergenic, you might sneeze otherwise. I have a few high points to hit and I want to do it in as few words as possible so you can get outside and start enjoying this beautiful weather!

Update 2! : “Everything You Do” hits store shelves March 31 The new live worship record “Everything You Do” hits the shelves at your local Christian retailer Tuesday, March 31 (also next week). You can also get it online through itunes. I suggest you getting it online and then going to the store to buy a few for your friends who think, “computers is evil”. I am so fired up about the new record because it’s got some really good moments on it and it’s just a fresh reminder of God’s power at work in the lives of his people. You can listen to some of the new songs at myspace.com/carlcartee
Update 3: Heather is still preggers and doing great! We are in month five of Heather’s pregnancy (click here to watch our birth announcement on y! outube). We’ll find out boy or girl next week as well and I’ll let eve ryone know how that turns out. Three kids, three and under feels like a lot, but nothing compared to the joy that they give us. Oak and Ezra are doing great. We’re in the middle of potty training Oak and sometimes when he has an accident on his Lightening McQueen underwear, we tell him it makes Lightening very, very, sad. Hopefully he will make it through without permanent emotional damage. We need patience.
Update 4: A new website is on the way! Also on March 31, we will relaunch carlcartee.com with a completely new design and lots of new features, music, more chord charts than ever and lots of free stuff. It will bring courage to the hearts of websites everywhere. It will even have social networking. We can be friends on carlcartee.com!
Update 5: My grandfather Carl Edward Hamrick went to his reward at the end of February. He was my hero and along with my grandmother, the reason that I believe in Jesus, love the church and play Christian music. I will miss him so much and appreciate your prayers for our family. One of the best things about burying a good man is that there is so much to say to those who remain. There’s so much to encourage people that their own race can be run and run well, all the way to the final mile. I am so thankful that I got to watch my grandfather finish well.
